The collar is made from saddlery leather – the most suitable and durable type of tanned leather for collar production.

Saddlery Leather
This is a specific type of thick, vegetable-tanned cowhide used in the making of belts, harnesses, saddles, bags, holsters, and collars. It is a firm, smooth, and strong leather (typically 3–5 mm thick) that can be shaped and polished with ease. A collar made from saddlery leather gradually develops a beautiful patina and unique character – it often looks even better with age.
