Original DG DogGear product.Designed specially for greyhounds. Developed in co-operation with experts from among breeders, specialists in heavy-duty textiles, and a team of designers and seamstresses. We pay great attention mainly to the functionality of the clothing, used materials, details, and safety of your dogs. All the clothing is hand made.Functionality is ensured through precisely cut patterns, which all fit perfectly, are not awkward if the dog runs, do not chafe the dog’s hair on the legs, and do not get in the way during urination. The fastening is variable with velcro straps (for long-haired breeds we offer snap buttons) and the pull-back rubber strings perfectly shape the rear part of the coat.
The cuts are our original and were developed upon consultation with vets, breeders of all sorts of hounds, and also upon testing. The used materials were carefully selected and many of them contain special patented fibres from renowned manufacturers. These ensure the functionality of the material and all are produced in EU countries only.
The details are also important – they include the brand embroidery, woven tags, edging around hoods, etc. The dogs’ safety is provided especially by the location of the reflective tapes that ensure the dog’s visibility at dark or in bad weather. For a start we are presenting a collection in a leisure sporty style with emphasis mainly on the comfortable fit of the clothing that must not get in the way of the dog’s natural motion. It warms the most important body parts – the back and the chest – that contain very little fat and apart from the muscles they have no possibility to warm up. However, we are preparing a special collection of clothing designed for warming up of the dog and his muscles before the race and afterwards, as well as clothing with collars and scarves to cover ears.
